Reviews

I love Frank Netter's drawing and they were an intimate part of my training and subsequent medical practice. I had been on the lookout for a Netter biography for a long time and was ecstatic when I finally found one. As a Netter fan, I found this book interesting although I'm not sure it would appeal more widely, primarily because it seemed to drag on and on into minute and often irrelevant detail (I skimmed the last 40% because it just became too tedious). Additionally the fact that it is written by Netter's daughter removes a good deal of historical objectivity and calls into question many of the book's viewpoints (after all, how objective can you really be about your stepmother).
